Cristina NiceParty, a Contributing Artist from Spain, brings a burst of color, a touch of simplicity, and an overwhelming sense of joy through her creations. But how did she find her way into the craft world, and what inspires her to craft such delightful creations? Let’s dive into her artistic journey and explore her fascinating world of creativity.
How did you find Cricut, and why did you decide to join the Contributing Artist Program?
I am a Brand Lover in Spain, so I have worked with the Spanish team before. They told me about the program and invited me to design Spanish references.
When did your artistic journey begin?
15 years ago!
What does creativity mean to you?
Everything 🙂
Who or what inspires you to create, and why?
I love to see my kids books, simple illustrations and creative window displays.
What is your favorite type of craft?
Paper always, I love to make crafts for parties.
What word would you use to describe your design style?
Simple and happy. I love to design for kids’ parties, so everything is colorful and simple.
Favorite family recipe?
Torrijas. Is a sweet recipe that we made in Semana Santa in Spain. Bread with milk, fried, with sugar and cinnamon on top. Delicious!
Are you a clean or messy person?
When I am creating everything is mess, but now that I have 2 kids, I need more clean space 😃
Do you collect anything?
Scissors!! Love all of them: Paper scissors, fabric scissors, love them all
