It was good but...
I liked it. I made a very long saying for my bedroom wall and while it worked pretty good there were times I did not like it, its stiff and a little hard to weed. I had the cut stick some here and there so I used my knife to keep that from sticking and messing up the cut. Also had problems getting it to go on the transfer paper and I used two different types. First, I tried cricut brand, then I tried the other. Same results. I had to go thru and make sure each letter was coming off and had to help several times, and once I got it on I had trouble getting it off. But I would use it again, though, I loved that I could make it so long, it was just over 4 feet, I wanted turquoise but had to settle for the blue but it worked out.

Hard to measure and transfer
I recently bought the Explorer 3. What's measured in Design Space isn't accurate with what I measure with the Cricut ruler. I've had to use up a lot of vynl to get the right measurements. Plus, I've used two different types of transfer tape and it's very hard to transfer.

The smart materials are hard to cut, you mess up so much material trying to get the blade to the right setting. It’s hard to get it to stick to the transfer tape. Once you set the blade and save it when you go to cut again you have to adjust the blade again. It also does not cut the smart paper either.

Does not come off :(
Was soooo excited to decorate a room with inspirational sayings. Unfortunately the vinyl would not come off the roll. I added more pressure, changed to a new blade and even cut it twice and it still would not come off.

Not worth it
I received this as part of my Cricut maker 3 bundle. I figured it would be worth it to try out the new materials without the mat. I have tried to use this several times and I end up throwing away what I’ve cut every time and going back to traditional vinyl and a mat. It is impossible to weed. I have tried different settings and pressures and it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Don’t waste your money, stick to the mat and you’ll have better results.
