FAQ
A Cricut heat press is a specialized press designed for applying heat-transfer designs onto fabric, wood, and other surfaces. Unlike household irons, a Cricut heat press ensures more consistent results through evenly-distributed heat. It's more than a T-shirt press machine — it’s also perfect for creating custom tote bags, pillows, and more.
You can create a wide range of heat press projects with a Cricut heat press, including custom T-shirts, tote bags, hats, and pillows. You can also decorate wood and even metal. With the right materials and a little creativity, there’s almost no limit to what you can personalize. Whether it’s for personal use, gifts, or items to sell, a Cricut heat press will make it easy to get results you're happy with. Don't miss our latest sale on Cricut heat press bundles.
It is possible to use a household iron for heat-transfer projects, however they do not offer the same heat consistency or lasting results. Cricut heat presses offer more precise temperature control and heat distribution than standard irons, which result in reliable and high-quality heat transfers. You can also get precise time and temperature settings through the Cricut Heat app or the Cricut Heat Guide.
