Tom Wailes

Tom Wailes is the Vice President of User Experience at Cricut.

He is passionate about leading lean design teams to deliver impactful products and services that enhance people's lives. With a focus on fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, Tom believes in the power of creativity, cross-functional teamwork, and thoughtful design strategy to drive meaningful results.

Tom has a rich professional background in leading diverse UX teams from concept ideation to launch, at both larger global companies such as Yahoo! and QVC as well as small early stage startups. His domain expertise includes AI & telehealth, social networking, e-commerce & marketplaces, maps/cartography, search and knowledge management systems.

Tom holds a Master's degree in Human Factors of Information Technology from Loughborough University and a Bachelor's in Psychology & Anthropology from Goldsmith’s College, University of London.
