FAQ
Like all Cricut EasyPress models, Cricut EasyPress Mini LT features a ceramic-coated heat plate that delivers dry, edge-to-edge heat. The main difference is that Cricut Easypress Mini LT has a single heat setting 180°C (355°F), the perfect temperature for most iron-on projects. You’ll need to use a separate timer to count down during application.
Simply plug Cricut EasyPress LT in and allow a few minutes for it to reach max temperature. The green light will turn on to indicate your press has reached 355°F (180°C ). Then, apply light pressure and move the press continuously over your design to ensure a successful transfer. Its compact design fits comfortably in the palm of your hand, and the precision tip gives you control and accuracy while you press. For precise settings for your project, always refer to the Cricut Heat Guide.
Cricut EasyPress Mini LT is ideal for transferring small designs. This includes the smallest area you can reach with the precision tip up to a surface area about 2X the size of the heat plate. Our recommended maximum design size is 4 in x 3.5 in or 1.7 in x 5.25 in. If you’re working with larger designs, we suggest considering Cricut EasyPress 3, 9 in x 9 in or 12 in x 10 in.
The light on Cricut EasyPress Mini LT shows the heating cycle. It turns red while the press is heating up and green once it reaches temperature. During use, you may notice the light switch back to red, which simply means the press is reheating to maintain the ideal temperature. This is normal and does not affect the pressing process or your results. No need to stop pressing or add extra press time when the light turns red, just continue as directed for the same quality results you expect with Cricut EasyPress.
Cricut EasyPress Mini LT is ideal for small, everyday projects and detailed designs like baby clothes, T-shirts, accessories, and more. With a single heat setting of 329ºF (165ºC), it works best with iron-on materials and compatible blanks.
Use our Cricut Heat Guide to find the exact time and temperature you’ll need for successful heat transfers. Simply select your material and item you’re applying it to, and the guide provides step-by-step instructions.
