Design Space is our free and easy-to-use companion app for desktop and mobile. The app is where you’ll find the images and fonts you need to create or customize your designs. When you’re ready to cut, the app tells you when and how to load your machine with a mat and/or material to ensure precise cuts every time. Design Space is also home to our vibrant Cricut community — a place to share, support, and inspire creativity.
Can I afford a cutting machine?

I want to make cards, what is the best machine?

I want to make paper flowers. Which is the best machine?
To make paper flowers, we recommend looking at Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker machines, which both give you amazing flexibility to make all kinds of paper flowers. I want to make foil cards. What is the best machine?

What are Smart Materials?
Smart Materials are formulated to work without a cutting mat, so you can just feed it directly into compatible Cricut cutting machines. Because it loads from the roll, Smart Materials make it possible to cut a single image, or repeated images, up to 12 ft (3.6 m). Available in both permanent and removable varieties, Smart Materials can be used for labels, decals, paper crafts, and more with a wide variety of colors, effects, and material lengths so you can add a personal touch to just about anything. They’re available for Cricut Explore 3 and Cricut Maker 3 machines, as well as Cricut Joy.
What is Infusible Ink?
Infusible Ink is a system of Cricut products that work together to create permanent heat transfers. Unlike the vinyl or HTV process, where artwork is attached on top of a base material using adhesive, an Infusible Ink transfer becomes one with the material itself for a permanent, professional-level heat transfer that lasts a lifetime. Infusible Ink products include transfer sheets, markers, and compatible blanks like T-shirts and mugs.
What are Cricut pens?
Cricut pens are specially designed to fit and load into tool clamps in a Cricut cutting machine. Cricut also offers markers, which have a thicker felt tip. Choose from a variety of beautiful fonts and unique drawing styles in Design Space, and then the machine uses the pen or marker to add a personal touch to your design. What is Print then Cut?
Print then Cut describes the ability in Design Space to print your designs on a home inkjet printer before cutting them with your cutting machine. This feature works with the Cricut Explore and Cricut Maker machine families.
