Crafting to me is just coming up with something out of nothing, really, and just bringing that imagination to life. I've always had this passion for things being personal and custom, just for me. So when I'm making things that include my name, it just makes me happy.

It's something that I feel like everyone dreams about. Everyone wants to be their own boss, but never did I think it would happen now, or come so soon. When I first got my Cricut machine I thought it was just going to be a hobby or something that I just do for fun. It was never to sell. It was just for me to have cool things, and make fun things as a pastime. And from there I just kind of took that energy and put it into me and figured out what I love to do. What do I want to put out into the world? And that’s how I got into stickers.

I make for the people that are misunderstood or just need something that'll bring them joy in life. It's something about words that just make you feel happy or make you feel a certain thing. Kind of like a song. When you hear a song, it reminds you of a time in your life. That's how I feel about quotes.

Joy – a joy that I’ve never felt doing anything else in life. It made me feel that this is something I can do for the rest of my life. I cannot ever see myself not having a Cricut machine or not crafting ever again because just knowing that people are looking at me. There's eyes on me. People appreciate my work and my brand and my stuff. It made me feel ecstatic.

For that to be created in my own home, I couldn't believe it. I don't think I would have a business if I didn't have a Cricut machine. Knowing my Cricut is when I knew myself. I learned what I love to do. I feel like that's what I did. I feel really proud. This whole journey has just been amazing. I've never felt this way doing anything else in life.

The community, it kind of shapes the whole Cricut experience because you see different people not doing the same thing as you're doing, or maybe people that are curious to do different things – like how to cut wood, or how to draw using a different marker, or something like that. It brings it all together and it helps you be more comfortable. Having that community to be able to ask questions or just get insight or feedback is nice to have.
