Spread kindness on social media to help raise up to $5,000 for charity

1 November 2024

In conjunction with World Kindness Day on November 13th, Cricut is pledging to donate up to $5,000 for charity. Cricut will donate $10 for every Cricut kindness project posted to Instagram, TikTok, and Cricut’s Official Facebook Group, to the Kids In Need Foundation.

How do I participate?

Participation is easy! All you have to do is:

  1. Post a Cricut-made kindness project to your public TikTok or Instagram account, or you can also post in Cricut’s Official Facebook Group.
  2. Make sure you tag Cricut (@Cricut).
  3. Use #CricutBeKind2024 in your caption – this is so that we can keep track of all your posts.

Any post between November 1st through November 13th that follows the above guidelines counts towards the donation. We also have a tag in Design Space (#CricutBeKind2024) to use when you post your project in Design Space. This way, you can get inspired by other makers!

What is World Kindness Day?

World Kindness Day happens every year on November 13th and is observed internationally across many countries. It’s purpose is to highlight good deeds in the community and bring people closer together through kindness.

What is the Kids In Need Foundation?

The Kids In Need Foundation help create learning environments for teachers and students in under-resourced communities. School supplies and resources matter because they empower underestimated students to recognize that they have choices and to make choices for themselves and their futures. For teachers facing rooms full of students struggling to break the cycle of poverty, supplies level the playing field so all students are prepared to learn when the bell rings. Just $1 provides $24 of supplies to teachers and students in under-resourced schools. To learn more about the Kids In Need Foundation, head to their website.

So during this World Kindness Day, help spread kindness in your community in the best way – by making with your Cricut! If you’re having trouble thinking of what to make, we have tons of inspiration in Design Space on the Community Page. So get out there, spread some kindness, and happy making!
