Let it glow with Glow-in-the-Dark Iron-On

3 October 2022

The spooky season is creeping upon us, and we’ve got just the thing to make your projects glow. Use Cricut® Glow-in-the-Dark Iron-On to add a little glimmer to your Halloween costumes and decorations.

All you’ll need is your Cricut machine, a heat press, and of course Glow-in-the-Dark Iron-On (also known as HTV or heat-transfer vinyl). It’s simple and easy to apply, but the results will have you beaming.

Trick-or-treat candy bags

Customized tote bags with Glow-in-the-Dark Iron-On are perfect for the kiddos. Not only do they serve the purpose of collecting candy but carrying these will help keep our trick-or-treaters visible when it gets dark. We used the Monster Munchies Candy Bag Decal project and Trick or Treat (#M3C47D) image.

Dancing Skeleton shirt

No costume? No problem! Get into the Halloween spirit with this Dancing Skeleton (#M1B120952) shirt you can create in Design Space. But don’t stop there. Take this project to the next level by using Glow-in-the-Dark Iron-On to make that design really shine.

Spooky socks

Turn everyday garments into glowing statement pieces. We decorated these socks with multiple Halloween designs to turn them into the ultimate Halloween accessory.

Decorative pillows

Keep the Halloween spirit alive in your home year-round with these creepy crawly decorative pillows. Glow-in-the-Dark Iron-On will add a magical touch to plain throw pillows and bring any room to life. We used the Beetle (#M2F2E105B), Moth and Moon (#M32E05517), and Snake (#M2F2E117A) images in Design Space.

Glow-in-the-Dark Iron-On can add vibrance to any project or outfit. You can keep it subtle with small luminous accents or add enough shine to light up a dark room!

Whichever way you decide to add glow to your creations, share your projects with us using #cricut. If you are making projects with vinyl, try Glow-in-the-Dark Removable Vinyl. We’ve also got some ideas for Glow-in-the-Dark Vinyl projects too.
