Meet the Contributing Artist: Eva Corbisier

Eva Corbisier, an artist from Paris, France, is a master at weaving cozy, natural scenes into beautiful illustrations. Her creations bring warmth and comfort to any project from labels to stickers. As a Cricut Contributing Artist, Eva combines her love of nature and color with a sense of poetic beauty that inspires makers worldwide. Get to know more about her journey and what creativity means to her! 

How did you find Cricut, and why did you join the Contributing Artist Program? 

I first discovered Cricut when I was gifted a Cricut Joy for my birthday, and I quickly fell in love! Soon after, I upgraded to a Cricut Explore, which opened up a whole new world of possibilities. Joining the Contributing Artist Program felt like the perfect opportunity to share my designs and connect with other creators. It’s been an amazing way to bring my personal projects to life and share cute, creative assets with others. I haven’t stopped creating since! 

Where did your artistic journey begin? 

I’ve loved drawing and creating art for as long as I can remember, but it truly became my passion and career during my graphic design studies. A few years later, I ventured into the world of freelance illustration, and it’s been a dream to focus on my artwork full-time. 

What does creativity mean to you? 

For me, creativity is like living in a bubble full of endless possibilities! It’s the freedom to explore and let my soul express itself through illustrations and designs that can inspire and bring joy to others. It’s about finding the magic in everyday moments. 

Who or what inspires you to create, and why? 

My surroundings and everyday life inspire me the most! Simple, cozy moments like a warm cup of tea or the sight of leaves dancing in the wind often spark my creativity. Anything that brings a sense of warmth and comfort makes its way into my art. 

What is your favorite type of craft, or what project have you created that you are most proud of? 

I adore stationery and paper crafts! My favorite project so far has been creating little gift tags with my Cricut around Christmas time. I’m a big fan of labels, stickers, and anything that adds a personal touch, especially for the holiday season. 

Describe your artistic style in one word and give an explanation 

Colorful, Poetic, Natural – I love creating soothing, nature-inspired, vibrant, colorful elements. My work often features flowers, plants, and leaves to bring a little poetry and warmth into everyday life. 

Choose a color to describe yourself. 

Turquoise! It’s the perfect mix of nature’s green and the sea’s blue, which I find incredibly calming and inspiring. 

What is your spirit animal?  

A cat! I love cozy moments and could happily spend hours wrapped up in a blanket. 

Do you collect anything? 

I collect memories! I keep things like receipts, cards, and little souvenirs from places I visit. I love putting them in a notebook with stickers and illustrations to capture the joy of those moments.
