Meet the Contributing Artist: Rosie Carter

21 March 2025

Meet Rosie, a passionate designer with a love for creativity and connection. As a Cricut influencer for over eight years, Rosie has transformed her artistic journey into a thriving career. Starting with architecture in Peru and transitioning to graphic design in the USA, her creativity has always been fueled by her vibrant community and a deep desire to bring her visions to life. Rosie’s work reflects her belief that less is more and that creativity can inspire change. A proud Hispanic creator, she loves sharing her culture and creating content in Spanish to connect with an even broader audience.

How did you find Cricut, and why did you join the Contributing Artist Program?

I’ve been a proud Cricut influencer for over eight years, and it’s been an incredible journey. When working on campaigns, one of the requirements is to use images from the Cricut library. Before joining the Contributing Artist Program, I often found myself cropping and modifying those images to fit my vision. Now, as a graphic designer, I have the freedom to create my own designs for my projects, which has been a game-changer. As a Hispanic creator, I’m especially excited to share content in Spanish, connecting with and inspiring a wider audience in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.

Where did your artistic journey begin?

I studied architecture in Peru, which sparked my passion for design and creativity. When I moved to the USA, I found myself drawn to graphic design, where I could continue exploring my love for creating. I’ve had a creative spark since I was a kid, always looking for new ways to bring ideas to life.

What does creativity mean to you?

The ability to bring an idea to life—something that starts as just a vision in my mind—is what I love most about creating.

Who or what inspires you to create?

My dogs—just kidding! It’s actually my community. Over the years, I’ve built a wonderful community of people who inspire me as much as I aim to inspire them. They’ve become a source of connection and motivation, and I’m so grateful for the interactions, support, and creativity we share.

What is your favorite type of craft, and what project are you most proud of?

My favorite projects would be celebration projects:

Wedding Sign
Baby Shower Sign

Describe your artistic style in one word.

Minimalist – Over the years, I’ve learned that less truly is more. Simplicity has a beauty all its own.

Optimist – I believe in using creativity to inspire, uplift, and make a difference.

Evolving – I’m always striving to grow, learn, and become the best version of myself.

Do you collect anything?

Starbucks mugs from all the places I’ve traveled—it’s my favorite way to remember adventures.

What is your favorite family recipe?

Lomo Saltado—it’s a classic and always a hit! 😉

Are you a clean or messy person?

Definitely messy, but I like to call it “Creative Chaos.”

Whether she’s designing celebration projects, experimenting in her “Creative Chaos” workspace, or adding another Starbucks mug to her travel collection, Rosie’s passion for crafting and storytelling shines in everything she does. Check out Rosie’s Design Space profile to see all her creations!
