How Did You Find Cricut, and Why Did You Join the Contributing Artist Program?
I discovered Cricut while working at a previous company, and I instantly fell in love with the creative freedom it offered. It allowed me to bring ideas to life that had only existed in my imagination. I was fortunate to be invited to participate in the beta stages of the Contributing Artist Program, making me one of the original contributors. It’s been an incredible journey to be part of this community and share my designs with crafters worldwide!
Where did your artistic journey begin?
My creative journey began at a very young age—I’ve always been artistic! I designed my first event poster when I was just 7 years old. I’ve always loved crafts and was fortunate to grow up surrounded by creative influences. My dad is very handy, and my grandmother was a professional seamstress, both of whom inspired my passion for making. I later pursued arts academically, studying it in both high school and university, which further shaped my artistic path.

What does creativity mean to you?
Creativity, to me, is the ability to bring ideas, emotions, and visions to life in unique and meaningful ways. It’s not just about making something visually appealing—it’s about expressing oneself, solving problems, and connecting with others through art. Creativity is a way to explore the limitless possibilities of the mind, whether that’s through design, crafting, or any form of self-expression. It’s about embracing experimentation and seeing beauty in the process as much as in the final outcome.

Who or what inspires you to create?
Everyday life and nature are my biggest sources of inspiration. I find beauty and creativity in the little things—whether it’s the vibrant colors of nature, a fleeting moment, or even a conversation with someone. Colors, in particular, are a constant inspiration for me. They evoke emotions, set moods, and bring a sense of life to my creations. I love exploring how different shades can transform an idea and make it come alive in a way that resonates with others.
What is your favorite type of craft, and what project are you most proud of?
I absolutely love crafting with paper and cardstock the most. Paper is such a versatile and incredible material—it allows for endless creativity and can be used in so many different ways. As for a specific project, I truly feel proud of all of them. Each one represents a different challenge and a unique idea brought to life. Whether it’s a simple card or a more intricate design, each project holds a special place in my heart because of the creativity and effort I put into it.

Describe your artistic style in three words and why?
My style is all about pushing boundaries and exploring various techniques. “Creative” because I love experimenting with new ideas and materials to create something unique. “Versatile” because I adapt my designs to suit different projects and themes, whether it’s a detailed card, home decor, or a box. “Expressive” because I strive to convey emotions and tell stories through my work, connecting with others on a deeper level. Each piece I create is a reflection of who I am and the world around me, I craft because I love all the pieces that I make.
What is your spirit animal and why?
An octopus. The octopus symbolizes adaptability, intelligence, and resourcefulness—qualities that I value in both my personal and creative life. Just like the octopus, I embrace challenges and can adjust to any situation, always finding new ways to solve problems and express myself. Plus, its ability to multitask with its many arms resonates with how I juggle multiple creative projects at once! I always have multiple projects and ideas on the go.
