FAQ

The EasyPress™ SE offers the same pro-grade heating plate and manual digital controls as the EasyPress™ 3, but it does not have Bluetooth connectivity.

EasyPress 3: Connects to the Cricut Heat App via Bluetooth to send time and temp settings directly from your phone.
EasyPress SE: You manually enter the time and temperature using the buttons on the machine itself. And you can get detailed steps and tips from the Cricut Heat guide.

It’s a fantastic, budget-friendly option for crafters who don’t mind a little manual entry and don’t need the “smart” app integration to get the job done.

This is usually caused by one of three things:

Insufficient Pressure: You didn’t press down hard enough (or the press wasn’t on a flat, sturdy surface).
Moisture: You didn’t “pre-heat” the fabric for 5 seconds to remove hidden moisture before applying the design.
The “24-Hour Rule”: The design needs time to cure. Always wait at least 24 hours before washing the item and always wash inside out.

The Cricut Heat Guide indicates, according to your base material and the design you want to apply, if a pre-heat is required, what type of pressure you need to apply, and how to make it last.

This refers to when you should remove the clear plastic carrier sheet:

Warm Peel: Remove the liner while it’s still warm to the touch (but not burning hot).
Cool Peel: Let the project cool completely to the touch before peeling. If you peel a “cool peel” material while it’s hot, you risk pulling the design right off the fabric!

The Cricut Heat Guide indicates for each project if you should apply a warm peel or a hot peel. It can’t go wrong!
