Introducing Create AI, a new subscriber-exclusive feature in Design Space™ that helps you unlock your imagination and take personalisation to the next level with AI-generated images optimised for your Cricut cutting machine.
How it works
Your son loves dinosaurs, but also unicorns and skateboards. You open Design Space, select Create AI, then type in “Dinosaur with unicorn horn riding a skateboard.” Now, sit back and let the magic of AI bring your idea — and his dream — to life. You’ll receive a single-layer, black & white image that is cut-ready, easy to weed, and sure to wow even the most discerning of toddlers.
Can anyone use Create AI?
Create AI is available for Cricut Access™ subscribers in English only and requires the “Beta” environment of Cricut Design Space be enabled. Please review instructions on how to opt-in to our Beta environment. Beta Design Space is always a work in progress, so you may encounter bugs, incomplete features, or things that don’t work as expected. While we don’t make any guarantees at this stage that these features will make it to the main app, we are still confident that the experience will be enjoyable and valuable. Your feedback is always appreciated!
How can images generated by Create AI be used?
AI-generated images will be saved, so subscribers can re-use them for their own future projects. Create AI images are for personal use only, and so these images can’t be cut by others. Feel free to share projects and creations made with Create AI images on your Design Space profile publicly, however, any project that contains a Create AI image may only be cut by your account. Additionally, you cannot use Create AI images in any projects intended to be sold (i.e., Create AI images are not part of the Cricut Angel Policy).
You agree, by using Create AI, that you will not try to make images, artwork, or projects that infringes the trademarks or copyrights of others. Create AI is designed to block trademarked, licensed, or inappropriate content that attempts to violate our Content Standards.

We are committed to supporting artists and growing this programme with high-quality, human-made designs our members can use. In fact, we hope Create AI will help our artists, too. As we learn what kinds of images our members are generating, we’ll be looking for ways to share those trends and insights, so our artists can stay inspired and ahead of the curve.
