Handmade Gift Guide
We believe the best kind of gift is handmade. With a Cricut machine, you can personalise so much to cater to the recipient. Whether they are a foodie, love playing sports, have a passion for makeup, or the many other things that a person might love, making something special to them is possible with Cricut.
The below guide shares our ideas for some of the types of recipients that we love to make for! Each idea has a project link that will take you straight to the project in Design Space so that you can save it for later, or get making right away.

The Foodie
We all have that one family member or friend who loves to cook (and you get excited when they are cooking for you!). Personalising an apron, a utensil pot, cake tin or spice jars are great options for a special food-related handmade gift.

Add some flavour to your gifts by gifting some labelled spice jars by Rebecca Marie Creative. Got a particular recipe in mind? Gift them the ingredients needed and provide them with a recipe card such as a cookie in a-jar mix!

Personalised Apron
Every baker and chef loves an apron, especially one with their name on it! You could make themed ones (Christmas images would work great for the head chef on Christmas Day), or simply keep it personal.

Personalised Slippers and Sleep Mask
Slippers and sleep masks are great presents to gift but what makes them better? Personalisng them of course! You could put initials, an image of something they love, or their name on the slippers using iron-on material. Home and Garden
Personalisation in the home is what many makers like to create with their Cricut machines… Why not share your home decor ideas and give them as a gift instead? Beautiful wall art, personalised cushions, and custom house signs are just a few ideas that make perfect gifts. But for those who have a green thumb, personalising plant pots, watering cans, or creating a storage box for gardening also make great gifts.
Personalised Door Mat
First impressions count and creating a unique and custom welcome mat is a perfect way to wow anyone who shows up at your door. Don’t make one just for you… make one as a handmade gift too! This doormat was by our very own Cricut UK Marketing Manager, Kathy.

Fox Pillow
Take a normal pillowcase… and turn it into a fox like Cricut maker Duygu! This is a cost-effective way to bring personality and some very cute decorations to the home. Whatever your recipient loves, get creative with your pillow recreation. We turned our pillow case inside out and then drew the shape of a fox face. We then used a sewing machine to sew around it. We cut the excess parts away and turned it right way round again. Then we found a fox face on Design Space and applied it to the pillow using iron-on.

Stocking Fillers
They may be small, but they can have a huge impact. Stocking fillers are fun and perfectly personalised with a Cricut machine. These also would make great secret santa gifts or when you are buying for someone you may not know a lot about. These still hit in a personal and memorable way.
Engraved Keyring
Engraving with the Cricut Maker and Cricut Maker 3 is a lot of fun. Grab yourself an acrylic keyring blank and create a design perfect for the recipient. It could be their initials, their name, a favourite quote, or themed on something they love. Cat who created this project, also added ink in the engraved grooves to make the text stand out.

Bullet Journal Sticker Sheets
Stickers make a great stocking filler. With Print then Cut, you can create your own stickers with your Cricut machine. Using images and text, find the perfect themes and quotes for your recipient. To learn about how to get started with print then cut you’ll need this Cricut Learn module.
You can also make stickers with sticker paper and the draw function on any of the machines to add detail to each sticker. This is how we made these bullet journal stickers. These stickers are great for weekly trackers, reminders, and schedules so great for anyone in school, university and work too.
