Beachside Tote

A key staple for every summer is a tote bag to get your essentials to and from the beach. Grab a large bag that will be wide enough to hold all your necessities. In this case, we used a 13” x 13” tote that’s 4 inches wide.

We used the Summer Loading image in Design Space, tweaked it a bit and layered the different Cricut Iron-on Vinyl colours onto the bag to finalise the project. Cricut Iron-on Vinyl is optimised to work with Cricut Heat Presses and has been tested to outlast 50+ washes.

PRO TIP: Ahead of pressing your design, lay the image onto the bag. Take a ruler and measure the sides to ensure the image is centred.

Use the online Cricut Heat Guide to determine the length of time and temp needed per type of material or the Cricut Heat app if you have a Cricut Easy Press 3.

Sunscreen Bag

To reduce your time rummaging around your Mary Poppins pool bag, collect all your sunscreens into their own case.

For this project, think outside the box and use the Cricut Wine Bag. Grab the Sunscreen Lotion image in Design Space and personalise it however you’d like. In this case, we included “SPF” on the bottle. Apply the Cricut Iron-on, press and voila!

Post-Poolside Snacks

Plan ahead and curb your poolside appetite by packing some snacks for your day in the sun. For this pool side snack bag, we used a Cricut Cosmetic Bag blank, Cricut Infusible Ink, and merged two existing images in Design Space (After School Snack and Life Is Better At The Pool).

Beach Towel

Summertime fun is usually go-Go-GO! That means sometimes things will get left behind. Personalising your towel will ensure your lost items will be found again.

For this project, we used the Candice font.

PRO TIP: To make your name pop amongst the towel design, offset your name and then layer on top your name. For more tips on Offsetting, check out these frequently asked questions.  We also have a blog post about offset here.

Water Bottle

We used a 20 oz tumbler (20 cm / 8” tall) in a colour that complimented the other projects. You can follow this Girls Just Wanna Have Sun project  in Design Space and cut it out using Cricut Permanent Vinyl – which is weather and UV-resistant and works great in any environment, including outdoors. Cricut Permanent Vinyl is dishwasher friendly (tested up to 100 washes), is tear resistant and comes in 20+ colours.

Luggage Tags

That luggage carousel can cause all sorts of confusion when we have the same bags as our fellow holiday makers. So be carousel savvy and adorn your cases with these cool luggage tags so your bags stand out in a crowd.

We’ve all become accustomed to syphoning our larger cosmetics into little bottles when we’re on our travels, so here is a perfect solution to personalise your bathroom essentials.
