Diwali celebrations with Cricut

4 November 2021

There’s no celebration or event that Cricut can’t help with! We’ve enjoyed spotting the Cricut Diwali creations shared by our members recently and they’ve kindly let us share them with you here.

Katharine Bowdidge is a childminder and is always looking for craft ideas to share with the children. She made these beautiful paper diwali candles with the children she looks after and shared them in the UK Cricut Creators Facebook Group.

Vicki Gamble shared the Diwali-themed decorations she had created for her nursery in the Cricut UK Facebook Group.

Hetal Kansara used images from Cricut Design Space to decorate boxes which she filled with dried fruits and gifted to her friends and family. She also shared her post in the Cricut UK Facebook Group.

Fiona Thomas of Katy Lou Designs created this simple but stunning T-shirt for Diwali celebrations using a design Rabia Khans created.

Rabia herself created a reel of how she made her Diwali card on her Instagram page. We are impressed with her weeding game and also how stunning the foil looks on the card. Rabia also made some exquisite lanterns for the Hobbycraft Ideas Hub. Watch the reel here and see the tutorial here.

Papercraft artist, prakruti.creations, made paper Diyas and cards for her celebration and for her customers.

There are many more projects to make to celebrate, including many projects ready to make on Cricut Design Space. This blog post has more Diwali-making inspiration and includes links to make the projects in Cricut Design Space.

Wishing you a Diwali that brings happiness prosperity and joy to you and all your family.
