Cricut asks for help to reach 50,000€ Pink October charity target.
This October Cricut is partnering with Pink Ribbon Foundations in 5 countries across Europe and aims to raise €50,000 with the help of the Cricut Community. And there are several ways you can help!
Cricut Pink October
Breast Cancer affects 1 in 7 women in the UK each year. This means that many of us have been affected, either with a diagnosis or supporting someone who has been diagnosed.
We know that it is something that is very close to the hearts of millions of members of the Cricut community which is why we’re pledging 30,000€ and aiming to raise 20,000€ more with your involvement during Breast Cancer Awareness Month – or Pink October.
The initial Cricut charity donation totalling 30,000€ has already been made, split between five Pink Ribbon Foundations operating in France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands and United Kingdom. The target is now to raise 20,000€ more with help from the community of over 1 million members across Europe!
We are always heartened to hear of members who are using their machine to make a difference. From mask making during the pandemic, to cards for care homes and birthday gifts for disadvantaged children, our community has constantly shown their generosity for supporting causes. By partnering with five Pink Ribbon Foundations we are able to bring our community together again to collectively use creativity as a way to raise funds for deserving causes.
How can you support the Cricut Pink October initiative?
Post on socials using #CricutPinkOctober
Throughout the month of October we are encouraging members to share projects on social media and in Design Space using the hashtag #CricutPinkOctober. Cricut will count the number of hashtags used and make a donation depending on the total number of shares. The more you share, the more funds will be donated.
Share a project in Design Space
Make a project to show your support and share it in Design Space. Any project you make in Design Space can be shared with the Community so that other Cricut members can like it and also make it. Make sure your project tags include #CricutPinkOctober to count towards the total shares, increasing the total donation.
Cricut pledges to donate an additional 4,000€ if the community posts the hashtag 4,000 times. As an additional incentive, if the total reaches 8,000 hashtags, Cricut will donate a further 6,000€.
Make a Difference
Could you use your Cricut machine to make something that you can sell to raise funds for the Pink Ribbon Foundation? Or make a one-off donation yourself?
Cricut is setting the community a collective target of 10,000€ across the five countries our partner Pink Ribbon Foundations operate in. Each of them has a donation page where you can pledge and donate:

What can I share on social media or in Design Space?
You can post any Cricut project you made to support the campaign, e.g. a gift for a breast cancer survivor or any Cricut project you created to raise money for the good cause. All we ask is that you explain in your Instagram post that you are posting to support the Cricut Pink October campaign by using the hashtag #CricutPinkOctober.
Here’s a suggested post and caption:
