Behind the Scenes at the Big Christmas Press Show
Last week, we attended the Big Christmas Press Show creating a beautiful and festive stand where visitors could take a look at our Cricut machines and get a first-hand experience of making with our products.
The Big Christmas Press Show brings journalists, media and potential collaborators together to meet brands that have exciting products to share for Christmas.
Almost half of all visitors registered for the show came to spend time with us on the Cricut stand over the two days. Each one got the chance to make a project with Cricut, learn about our products and were amongst the first people in the UK to see the newly released Cricut Mug Press™!
Cricut Mug Press Launch
The team was excited to launch the Cricut Mug Press and reveal that it would be available in the UK & Ireland from October 1st making the announcement live from the event which you can watch back here. Naturally, both press and collaborators alike were intrigued to see the new Cricut Mug Press work its magic and even make a mug themselves!
We also made personalised stockings, Christmas cards with the Cricut Joy, and personalised vinyl baubles. These quick but beautiful projects demonstrated how easy it is to use Cricut products and show that creating personalised gifts and home décor has never been easier.
Dreamcarts
We used two Dreamcarts from Create Room for visitors to make on. The tables were great as you can spread out with materials and machines on the desk and store lots of tools and materials in the compartments underneath too!
Winter Wonderland Decor
The stand itself had lit-up gondolas and snow-capped cabins as decorations to create a winter wonderland. And yes, these were made with our Cricut machines!
We also had a variety of projects to hand to show all the amazing things you can create with a Cricut machine. From cards with the Cricut Joy™ to long vinyl cuts created with a Cricut Explore™ 3 or Cricut Maker™ 3, visitors got to see a range of making inspiration.
ITV News
Not only was it great to share our products with visitors but we were filmed on ITV News too! Our very own Emma Jewell Crafts was interviewed at the stand about Cricut, the Christmas Press Show and more!
After over a year of not being able to connect in real life, it was amazing to be able to give people a first-hand experience of Cricut and share our passion with others.
