Fun ways to personalize your summer essentials

1 July 2022

When the sky clears and the weather warms, it’s time to bring your inside activities outdoors. Certain household items are crucial to making this transition easier, but why settle for basic? I used my Cricut to customize my summer essentials, so not only are they functional, but they’ve got some personality as well.

Sunglasses case

Sunglasses are a timeless accessory that serves a purpose. Protect your eyes from the bright UV rays , all while adding flair to your look. When lounging at the pool or on a beach, a pair of shades is a key accessory. Keep them safe from damage or loss in a personalized sunglass case that’s easy to take on the go.

Water-resistant bookmarks

When packing for a day outside, I always make sure to bring a book. However, paper by the pool or ocean is always a risky situation. I used my Cricut Maker 3 to cut some fun bookmarks out of shrink paper for a colorful, water-resistant solution to my bookworm problem. Now if only I can find a water-resistant solution for the pages in the book…

Custom baseball cap

Just as sunglasses are crucial for protecting your eyes, a cap or hat is just as crucial for keeping your face clean and covered, especially on those days you forget to apply SPF. I added a touch of my style to this plain hat by adding a few white and red cherries. With such a simple addition, it’s now adorable and functional. There are so many designs to choose from in Design Space, so take your pick!

Personalized beach towel

For those days on the beach, lawn, or anywhere else you want to lay on something softer than Earth, a custom beach towel is a must-have. Owning personalized towels exudes a luxurious feel, and Cricut keeps it within budget. With personalized beach towels, you also won’t risk any mix-ups!

Summer just got more spectacular.

These summer essentials are key for the season, whether you are planning extravagant adventures or relaxing vacations. The beauty of using a Cricut for customization is that the design and material options are all up to you, and there are thousands of projects to choose from.
