Celebrating Autism Awareness Month: Making an invisible disability visible

The Cricut Community are champions of so many causes and today we celebrate Autism Awareness Day – a day that brings attention to Autism and gives a voice to those with autism, as well as their family and friends, to be heard and understood.
We have been inspired by the many projects that have been made to raise awareness of autism. They remind us that it’s okay to be different and those differences should be celebrated. They let those with autism know they are not alone. And they help make an invisible disability visible.
We’ve gathered a few of our favorite t-shirts.
All month long, Cricut has made select Autism image sets free to anyone creating in Design Space. Just click the images below to start making.
And remember Temple Grandin, a prominent author and speaker on autism, shared a quote that has stuck with me – “Different, not less.” Those are words everyone needs to recognize and live by all year long.
