OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • Blue cardstock
  • Patterned cardstock
  • White cardstock
  • Distress ink and blending tool

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Cut accent background, butterflies, and oval
Color butterflies, oval, and accent (the accent that will go behind the patterned cardstock) with distress ink. Also stamp "Happy Birthday" onto the oval (any sentiment can be used for card to change its occasion). For this card I used Tim Holtz distress ink colors Broken China and Tea Dye.
Fold blue cardstock for card base and adhere all pieces of card together. Leave the wings of the top butterfly unglued and curl slightly with a pen or pencil so that they pop off the card.
