For about 4 years now I have been making Halloween t-shirts for my grandsons, this is one of my 2012 shirts. This t-shirt was created using the Cricut cartridge "A Frightful Affair." I cut the gargoyle using the "silhouette" feature at 7 1/2 inches. I then "burned" it to a Yudu screen, following the instructions that come with the Yudu machine. I then "pulled" the image using black ink. After the ink dries, don't forget to iron the image, as this makes the image permanent.

CRICUT ®: WHAT WAS USED

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED

  • cardstock
  • Black Yudu Ink
  • Yudu screen
  • Yudu Emulsion Sheet

STEP-BY-STEP How-TO INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare your Yudu screen following directions give with the machine.
While waiting for your screen to dry, cut the gargoyle figure at 7 1/2 inches, using the silhouette feature on your cricut machine.
I use the clear sheet that I removed from the emulsion sheet to glue my cut images to. I lay the pieces on the shirt where I want them, then put a dab of glue on each piece & carefully place the clear plastic over them, adhering the pieces to the plastic.
Place the clear plastic sheet on the Yudu machine and following the instructions, burn the screen.
When your screen is complete & dry, prepare your shirt & pull the ink, again following the directions that come with the Yudu machine.
When the ink is dry, iron the shirt to make the ink permanent.
