  • What comes in the box:
    • Cricut Expression® machine (21 ½" x 7" by 7 ¾").

  • Does the Cricut Expression® machine require a computer?
    • No. The Cricut Expression machine is designed to function with the Cricut® cartridges as a standalone machine.
    • If you prefer to design on a computer, the Cricut Expression machine allows you to do so with the free online Cricut Craft Room® design software—just connect and start creating with the Cricut images you own.
  • Are all Cricut® cartridges compatible?
    • The Cricut Expression® machine is compatible with all original Cricut cartridges.
  • What materials can a Cricut Expression® machine cut?
    • You can cut a wide range of materials including cardstock, vinyl, vellum, fabric, chipboard, and even thin foils.
  • How large or small can Cricut® images be cut on the Cricut Expression® 2 machine?
    • Image sizes range from ¼" to 23 ½" (12" x 24" cutting mat sold separately). Some images are intricate and may cut best at larger sizes.
  • What features are available on the Cricut Expression® machine?
    • The Cricut Expression machine has several fantastic features available. A few favorites are the Auto Fill and Quantity features. They allow you to cut multiples of the same image so you can quickly create a batch of invitations, place settings, party favors, or other projects.
  • How do I update my Cricut Expression® machine?
    • The Cricut Expression machine will occasionally require a firmware update so the machine can communicate other Cricut® products. You can update your machine firmware by connecting it to your computer and the Cricut Craft Room® design software.
    • The Cricut Gypsy™ device can be used as well to update the machine.
  • How does the Cricut Expression® machine compare to other Cricut® machines?
