Instructions:

• Using Songbird, I selected a cage and bird to match my appearance and cut it to scale for the cover of the store bought spiral bound journal.
• I then inked the edges to give it a worn look.
• Using Fabulous Finds I cut the tabs and adhered them using paste.
• I reinforced them with clear laminating sheets so they would be more durable. I added details to the tab pages in the theme for that section.

1. Cut the characters you want to use from a sheet of shrinking material. Cut at 2 inches each.
2. Color both sides of the plastic characters with colored pencils or permanent markers. Remember that as it shrinks, the colors will get bolder.
3. Punch a hole in each character before you bake it.
4. Bake as instructed on the shrink film package and allow to cool.
5. I used a silver bracelet. I also added blue shell piece beads. This bracelet would be perfect for a pre-teen girl or theme party favor.
