I am working on a project for my church in which I am trying to create a trefoil image (3 interlocking rings). I have created my rings, saved, interlocked them, saved, and then welded. Only part of my image is cutting the way I want. I have been working on this for an hour now and still am not getting anywhere. Any advice/help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Are you sure the whole project was grouped before it welded? IIRC, the whole image should show up red.
Here is a great video if you still need help!

I have linked it, welded it, unlinked it, partially linked it, welded it, linked the linked images, then welded, you name it and I still can't get it to work. Right now, I have the linked images welded, then in view the image shows up with black lines. I did a special image several years ago, but now I can't remember how I did it.

Hello, I can recommend using Cricut Craft Room to achieve what you are trying to do. You will find this design program much easier and faster to use.

Just a thought . . . in the top left corner there are file tabs. They say Template, Layer 1, etc. Do you have the Layer/Template you want to cut highlighted. It (the image) should show up red. Just tap the tab of the one you want to cut. I went crazy one day trying to cut something and then hit the correct tab and it cut.

I don't have a clue as to why it does thjis but I have had the same problem when I copy the first image .. then the next.. I made it work by downloading each 'circle' then grouping them .. then move them together and overlap ... then press weld button .. then it should all be red BUT double check the welds with the enlarging button .. the weld should overlap and the overlapped areas will be gray .. then it should cut.
