One of our swappers would like this question answered please. Thanks!

I have 3 from the Maggie swaps but don't seem to use the stamp as much as coloring the images I get from the swap.Blushing Blushing Blushing

I do like other lines like Greeting farms and CC designs.

Update on this swap.

I have 2 directives completed and 1 bought. I know pretty much what I am making for everything, I just have to get to it!!!

I have a few of them. I like to do layering with them to give them a 3-D look. I have the fence, a small chair and three of the little girls and the boy. Bought them when our only "local" scrapbook store was shutting its doors. The owners decided to retire since the parking lot where there store was went through a lot of tearing up and adding new drainage system etc.

Not a Maggie stamp user unless you want to color them for me too... I tend to use stamps that I don't have to stay within the lines to color!RollEyes LOL

I have one project finished and should be finishing a couple more on Thursday; moving along fine.

Hope everyone's having a decent week.

JCI returned from my scrapbooking retreat with 4 things left to make and 3 things to buy. Just a little perplexed with what to make for the last directive. Hope everyone is doing well.

I also need same info from LorifromTx.

The rest of you are on my list already.

I hope we are on the "good" list and not the "bad" list and you have checked it twice.

Ok just got back from a 3 day conference where there was no cell service but for one carrier that only about 10% of the people had and internet was only hit and miss. grrrrr.

So now back to the land of the living and crafting.. Hoping that this weekend I get to really play..

I also answered question 15

Whew! Finally finished with Halloween swap and can begin on this one. But first, need to order new mats and blades. No, I don't use Maggie stamps. I only use sentiment stamps. I don't have any markers or anything to color them either.

Mailed the Halloween Swap ... now I can get a jump on this one. As for Maggie stamps I haven't bought any in a long time. I'll need to look at the newer collections and then answer the question.

I haven't used Maggie stamps.

Worked on a couple of directives today - but one went in the garbage Sad Just didn't turn out unfortunately! Have a couple I am stuck on but I am sure I will figure it out. Unsure

CMC56 that last one has me thinking hard on as well! And a few have made it into the trash, If they would only work out the way they do in my mind, I'd be set! A Scrapbook retreat would be heaven!!!

Not to brag or anything but the last directive came to me right awayBigGrin BigGrin
Funny how it works sometimes.

I still haven't quite narrowed down the inspirational directive yet. I do have 2 ideas but not sure which way to go!

I'm just glad I printed out the list of directives and then jotted down my ideas way back when partners were assigned. Otherwise, I would certainly forget by the time I start working on this swap in a week or so.

I thought of a good idea for the last directive, but not sure it's what I'm going to end up doing.

I answered this question with my original Q & A's but am posting it here as well.

Do you like/use Maggie stamps? If so, are there any newer ones you would like to have (drooling over)? I don't stamp as much as I would like to. Have several Maggie stamps buy really do not use them.

Regarding the last 2 directives....maybe we should be thinking of New Year's Resolutions

I will keep my craftroom organized
I will learn how to color a stamp with copics
I will give an honest attempt at makeing a steampunk themed project
I will find the time to read up on all the Tim Holtz months of tags and create one or two
I will .....

I will....

I will....

Maybe that will give someone some ideas too!

Maybe you can do up a tutorial for your SS
or maybe you can give her some supplies so she can take a go at a TH inspired tag
Maybe she just needs an altered clock or neat calendar to stay on time! lol
Maybe she just needs some type of positive plaque to hang on her wall in front of her face to remind her why she crafts
or maybe she just needs something absolutely beautiful and well made to remind her why she loves to swap here! Something that will put a smile on her face everytime she looks at it!

It's as simple as that actually!

Now that I have the Halloween swap behind me, it's time to start planning out my crafting timeline for this major swap.

I just counted how many weekends are left between now and the DD of Dec. 9th.

EIGHT WEEKENDS LEFT TO CRAFT!

SO that means I need to craft TWO DIRECTIVES each weekend from here on out. And then figure out whether I'm buying 4 items or still crafting more.

I need to get applesauce made this weekend...but I definitely need to get some crafting done too! I do not want to get too far behind with this swap!

Remember, no way can you complete this swap over Thanksgiving vacation - it's too involved!

So just giving us all a dose of reality (me, in particular needing it) and hoping you all will make a special effort to stay on some time of crafting time table and find some special projects to share with your SS for the Holiday Season!

It will be helpful if everyone checks in next week closer to the Nov. 1st weekend. Let most of you get past the hecticness of Halloween. lol

Sorry, Gwen, I'm here. Busy week/weekend. DD came home from college last week for fall break and we spent some time with her. She decided to leave her cat with us so she can get some studying done, schools getting hectic and this is her last year. OH MY GOD...SHE GRADUATES IN MAY OF 2014!!!OhMyGod Scared Why can't time slow down a little. Plus I've had a busy weekend too. Never owned a cat before, but thankfully she is very low maintenance. Paco's training is done, but he's still stubborn about some things.

I've been shopping and working on directives...ideas coming slowly.Blushing

I have a vendor event on 11/2 so I'm also making cards and stuff for that. Plus keeping busy with my SU stuff.

I like Magnolia stamps, but haven't had much time to ink/color the ones I have.
