Received terri's ATCs todayBigGrin

I heard from craftysansan and her ATCs will be here on Monday. Yeah!!!!!!

I will get these all ready to ship out on Monday and Tuesday and then post pictures of all the groups. Most of you are doing priority shipping which makes it easy.

I will also be adding a little something in 3 packages for the best ATC of the group.

My DH will pick the one that he thinks best fits the theme & style. (No, he can't pick mine)BigGrin

Thanks everyone

All the packages have been mailed!!!! Expected delivery of them is Wednesday & Thursday. I think there were only a few that weren’t sent flat rate but should still arrive by Thursday.

COB- I sent yours with DC because I used a stamped envelope I had that had enough postage for it.BigGrin
Lori- you sent me enough
Alicia-cost was $5.15

Those of you that sent $7, I gave you back a dollar. Those that sent $6, I kept the change.
Cost for postage was $5.15 for the boxes and 5.70 for the padded envelopes. If you join another swap of mine, I will remind you that I have a little extra left over. It was easier than trying to make exact change for everyone.
The rest of you, I tried to give change back.

I was very happy to get all of these back by the due date and over all I was very happy with the. The steampunk group was my favorite for sure!!!! You all will be amazed at these. Some of the techniques used don't show at first so really look at themBigGrin

The "chalk on the blackboard" rubbed off a little on a few ATC so they might have to be touched up. An easy fix I am sureSmile

That being said, I did make a few observations and just want to point them out. I am not pointing fingers at anyone, just things I noticed right away. I call it friendly criticism so please do not be offended. It is how we learn to be better crafters.

BASES-The ATCs should have a good base or at least 3 layers to make them sturdy.
ADHESIVES--Some of the kinds used didn't work well on the layers and a few embellies fell off.
TRIMMING-one of my pet peeves-sorryLOL I don't like to see the back paper showing around the edge of the front of the ATC. It might help to make that last layer just a touch smaller or make sure it is trimmed well.

Here are all the DC# for those that were sent priority

Really need to get them all sorted out. I go through them and say I am going to use them but then back they go because I don't want to part with them.

COB you will have to come back for the Christmas ones, just to see what kind of "twist" Jean comes up with..

I was thinking these might make a really cute altered shadow box for fall. You could put some of the cards in the box and add some additional embellies. It looks like it might be hard to choose which ones though.

GUILTY as highlighted- sorry Jean and ladies.
I already know that next time I will glue all three layers together and trim them BEFORE I start doing anything else. Too hard for me to line up the layers perfectly with my shakey hands.

Have a great day everyone!

Not sure if I noticed all those on your ATCs LauraBigGrin

Someone from my ATC swaps a long time ago, said that she completely glued 2 sheets of 12X12 cardstock together and then cut out 12 ATC pieces using her Cricut. Then she just did her top decorated layer and glued it on.
I do have the cut file for DS if anyone wants it.

Another tip-If you use a stamp for your info on the back, stamp it and fill out before you do your final assembly. A flat surface is easier to stamp and write onBigGrin

I had incentive to get them into the binder right away. Mom really seems to enjoy looking at these, I think because there's so much to look at, but she's not careful. So after doctoring up a couple from the first round, I ordered a set of pages and got them into a binder real quick!Laugh

Mine arrived today too! Thanks Jean for your time in sorting and remailing and thanks for the prize goodies too.

You all did very good.

I think it was Candy and Jean that both did something unique with the foil pressed over the diecut and traced it down. Does that make sense? Anyway, I like that idea! No way could I pick just one favorite from each group.

Hi Jean. There seems to be alittle mix up on the ATC's I received. I received one set of Apples and should have received two sets of Pumpkin. Please let me know where these go and I will forward them on.

Never having hosted a swap I can only imagine how difficult it is sorting, packaging and re-shipoing! Let me know what Ican do.

I love doing the ATC swap and Thank You for doing this fun swap for us.

Have a nice evening,

How did I do thatGlare Glare I had 2 people only in group 1 and 4 only in group 3 so I packaged them up first. So I am thinking maybe one of them got pumpkins and not apples.

I posted in the title so hopefully someone from group 1 will let me know they got pumpkins instead of apples.Blushing

If not, I will send you my pumpkin setBigGrin Hold on to the apples for now.

So sorry about that. I try to be so careful!!! Not this time I guessBlushing Blushing

Jean please I'm impresses you take on the job to begin with. The only reason I posted on the board was so the person with 2 sets of pumpkins knew where they belonged and they would know where their apples are. I look at it on the bright side - I got to see an apple set before they go to their forever home.

We are a honest group and the pumpkins will come home when they are done visiting.

Have a nice rest of the week.

Got the ATCs yesterday and am in awe of the talent that you ladies have!
There's NO way I could choose a favorite, but the three winners ARE fantastic! Thank you for hosting Jean and can't wait for the next challenge.
The pumpkin balloons, bicycle, leaves with the foil over, and candy apple stand out from the top of my head.
All of them are great though, I love the diversity and can't wait to show them off.
