Lori, I know what you mean about stamping - This month is the first time I have done a stamped image card that I colored it all in and it is 90% of the card. I have loads of stamps that I have never removed from the packages and I think it is time to use some more of them !

Also, I recently bought a Tri-Shutter card die for my FIskars Fuse and I am going to give it a work-out soon ! I try to present something new and different when I can..Love

Denise - Your cards arrived and they are so pretty !!
I love that you ran the heart through an embossing folder for texture. I also love the colors on this one... This year's SPRING Color Rage will be "Orchid" which is a nice Pinky shade of Purple ! Also - thanks for the buttons and clothes line with tiny clothes pins - so cute and creative !

I hope everyone else's cards will get here soon so I can get them sorted and mailed before the 7th. THere are several Valentines and I want you to have them in time for "V"Day !! Love

My husband works the ENTIRE Valentines weekend... seriously, Friday night and all day Saturday through Monday. Angry And, to add salt to the wound, it's our first married Valentines. Crying

But, seriously, I'm not that sentimental. ha ha. Or maybe I am. We'll see.

I plan on spending that entire weekend crafting for all sorts of projects and swaps. Love

Catita - Sorry to hear your hubby has to work that weekend, but just be happy that he has a job to go to !! You will find some quality time with him I am sure... Love Wub

I will be working Friday and Saturday as well...but we nurses are used to it ! I have worked many holidays and it really becomes no big deal after a while (even Christmas) After all it is only 8 out of 24 hours...so you dont really miss it (unless you are a firefighter and cant go home )

Busy sorting cards tonight !! Woot Not as easy as it sounds for this old lady Razz

I'll just make it a romantic weekend with my Cricut...and my Cuttlebug...and my Tombow...and my Xyron...and my tons and tons of paper! I'm such a craft-whore! ha ha Flapper

Not only does my husband have 1 job to go to, he has 2! And he is deeply passionate about both: teaching and hockey. So, I really can't complain! If anything, I feel bad for him as he'll be exhausted working a full week at school, then a full 3 day weekend on top of that. But, hockey season is almost over, and we'll be back to our normal school year routine. Until summer, which makes all of our hard work and extra work worth it when we have 10 weeks together to travel and lounge and live our non-teacher lives.

As for your sorting... best of luck with that! I can't even imagine how you organize it.

And thanks for doing it. I'm excited for our February/Spring/Easter/St Patricks Day swap!!!

Finished my February cards yesterday. I "cricuted" an SVG that I saw and loved. The card opens like a regular card. The bunny slides in and out of the grass on the card front. So stinkin cute (if I do say so myself).

Also, I received my batch of January cards yesterday. Some really cute creations in there. Thanks, ladies.

Hi Gena - GOOD QUESTION ! Some of us do the inside by adding at least a small mat which coordinates with the front of the card. THis is a nice finishing touch. Some do not...it has never been a requirement, but I always like to do a little something. Sometimes I add a stamped or printed verse on white card-stock but do not glue it in, so the recipient can choose to add it or not. I have been contemplating making it a requirement to at least include a small mat.
Thanks

I usually decorate the inside of my cards. I'll put contrasting paper on the back side of the card front. On the inside back of the card I sometimes post a sentiment but not always. You will really get a good idea when you receive your first batch of cards. All of the ladies are so creative. I just received my January batch and am delighted. Thanks to all, Carol K.

I don't usually decorate the inside because I like to write lots but that's just me.

BTW, Barbara, I got my cards! I thought I had posted that but I guess I didn't. Blushing
