Just about any paper will work. Just get different kinds till you find the kind that works.

Well, to start off with you could go to Walmart and get a package of the white Georgia Pacific cardstock for your card bases. Then go to their scrapbook isle and get some solid colored cardstock and some pretty printed cardstock (something you like).

And yes, all most everybody has the machine you have. On this message board it's often referred to as the "Baby Bug". It was the first Cricut that was marketed. They are still nice little machines.

Read this message board. It's filled with valuable information.

Watch YouTube videos about how to use your machines, reviews of the different cartridges, and inspiration for making all kinds of cards and crafts with your Cricut.

You might also want to sign up or lurk on www.splitcoaststampers.com it's the biggest paper crafting forum on the web.

Once you start collecting card stock, cricut cartridges and craft supplies you will be hooked like the rest of us. But it's fun, and we love it!
