Hi there, I just started with my Cricut Mini a few days ago and am still learning the ropes of the CCR. I was wondering if someone could help me out?
I am trying to find a way to join my letters into a word, so as to form a written phrase? Does that make sense? I don't know how else to explain it.....please help....thanks in Advance.

It makes sense! It called "welding" and you can weld letters to letters or to other images.
In CCR, there are two ways. . .you can place each letter on the mat and move them so they slightly over lap and then weld. {When you have selected an image and are moving it and it touches another letter, a green box will appear above the image that says Weld or Don't Weld. . .select weld for each image you want welded.}
Or, for words, you can use the Text Box feature to type in your word, change the spacing between the letters and when they touch, they weld.

thank you for your reply, and helping me so quickly, but what if i need a space, as in if i wanted to say "I Love You" in a stylish writing and i want the love, and you connected, but not all of the words to touch??

You can offset the words or use a thin rectangle or flourish to connect them. For them to cut as one piece, they have to somehow touch.
You could cut the words separately {using a text box for each} and then position them where they "look" connected when you glue them to your project.

I personally like how the alphabet goes together with Lyrical Letters (maybe Calligraphy would do this, too). The letters just seem to flow together. On other text/cartridges, it seems you have to tilt the lettering to move it together effectively. I tend to go to Lyrical Letters the most (if you have it). Char
