I need to make some stencils and would love to use the craft room; especially since my gypsy was stolen... but I can't figure out how to lay it out and cut in the other direction... in lanscape mode instead of portrait... can you help me with this... help... thanks...

You have to turn your design. You can't change the orientation of the mat.
I usually just design horizontally and go past the edge of the CCR mat. Then I select all of the images and rotate them 90 degrees.
