Hi I have a Cricut Ex 2 , & I'm attempting to make the valentine card project , posted in the craft room. Installed the gel colour pen, I have set up the letters as instructed and press cut and nothing happens , it says its connected. I experimented before I set up the digital font and it all worked fine. What am I doing wrong !! Clare

I have to hit CUT twice before anything happens. Are you getting another CUT button at the bottom after the first CUT screen opens?
