Sad day for me yesterday..... My Cricut Expression died mid cut. It won't turn on, I tried another plug and nope nothing. Luckily I still have my little personal cricut to finish the wishes I granted.

The good news.... I need a new Cricut.... Any opinions on what to purchase and from where? Cricut Expression or Cricut Expression 2.....????

OH Simone!!!! Sad

I would be soooooo sad if that happened to me. One reason cause I have the red expression that was a Black Friday deal from WalMart a few years ago...and second cause I use my Cricut A LOT and would not have the money to go out right now and replace it!

So I sure feel for you!

Oh, Simone, so sad!! Glad you have a backup.

No advice from me, I've bought all my machines from people here on the board, second hand, but in perfect condition. Check out Product Reviews and Deals, you might get lucky like I did!

I have the original E, have had it for 4 years now. When PC released the 5yr E2 my CM upline got one. I was so excited to use it and see if I really wanted to upgrade. I found that I preferred my original E. I do use the G exclusively with my E but I still found the user interface difficult to adjust to. Looking back I'm so glad I played with hers first and kept my E.

Simone I am sorry your E broke. I have a baby and and Imagine machine. I use the E the most. I don't have an E2 but I like the original E more than anything I have seen.

Hope you get a new one soon.

Simone.....so sorry about your machine! I have the AE E2 and LOVE it, but it is also the only Cricut I have ever had. From the posts I have read on the board, most users who have had an E, then got the E2, like the E better. They seem to have a difficult time adjusting to the E2. I learned on the E2, so had no adjustment. Guess I am no help at all...lol! GG

I can do your Baby Step cuts for you.

Simone -- I have an extra green Cricut Expression I bought as a package deal off of Craigslist, I bought it because I mostly wanted the cartridges she was selling with it. I would like to get 60.00 for it plus shipping. Just let me know if your interested in it.

JenEbright-

Your Outdoor Man and Sports Mania cuts are complete and will be in the mail tomorrow (Monday). There are a few extra fish - wasn't sure on the size and 2 different sizes of the "Manly" phrase.

I cut the Football helmets, 2 different ways..... I wasn't quite sure how you wanted them so I recut them and included them all.

Hope they all work for you.

Enjoy!

EXACTLY THIS. When I tried my friend's E2 I hated the changes they made. The screen was rotated from the position of the mat (not sure how to better describe that) but it really threw me off my game. Also there is very little control about placement of the images. I use my Gypsy exclusively with my E, and the E2/G combination just wasn't an easy transition.
