Lynne Hello Lynne! The Gypsy update should take about an hour to an hour and a half. If you are still attempting to update you can click stop on Cricut Sync and disconnect your Gypsy from the computer. If your Gypsy still says connected you can reset your Gypsy by using the tool found in your stylus top. You can just poke the tool into the hole in the back of the Gypsy. This will turn off the Gypsy. To check to make sure that the Gypsy is updated just turn the Gypsy on and connect it to the computer. Then relaunch the Sync program, it will indicate if the Gypsy needs further updating. I hope that this helps! -Cricut Gena
