Just downsized my boxed cartridges into smaller containers and am wondering what crafty thing I can do with the boxes...Please post ideas/pics of what you've done with your boxes...even if it is just to store them... I've got about 150 empty boxes right now and will have about 100 more when I get to the rest of them...

looking for crafty makeovers, organizational uses....anything to just not store them and take up so much space.....

I decoupaged some of mine with scrapbooking paper and added some embelishments to give away as Swap Items and Easter boxes. Here are some pics.

You can also give them away or sell them. I would love to get a hold of some, I would be willing to pay postage for some. People here really like these boxes.

I am keeping all of mine for resale value when I or my family attempts to sell the cartridges. According to collectors, they indicate the value of items go way down without the original boxes. Therefore, I have all my granddaughters Barbie Doll boxes for the collector dolls and all my Dept 57 LIghted Village items, etc. I recently sold my original expression and the individual did not want it unless I had the original box.

I made cards that fit in them and then embellish the box to match. A friend of mine altered one to hold paperdolls and clothes she made from the paperdoll cart.

Hi Freda,

If you still have those empty Cartridge boxes, I would love to get some. I like storing my cartridges in their boxes. I have some cartridges that I bought used, and they didn't come in the original box.

I also keep mine. I purge my carts periodically and make good money from them. However, folks won't touch them without the boxes. I also save the boxes for all my machines.

I'm with you.....180 boxes, cardboard and plastic went in the trash. I just do not have room to save boxes. I did post on here at the time and said I would ship if they paid shipping but I never had a taker!

I have 42 of the plastic boxes, no inserts or paper, just the boxes. Can go to anyone that will pay postage. I think it was around $15 the last time I sent some. Just PM me if you're interested.
