I'd like to make a birthday card but the only cartridge I own is what came with the expressions2 cricut. Any ideas for a card for a first time user?

Start Easy, look at some of the designs on your cartridge and get inspiration from those. Also by trying the project that comes in the book is a good jumping off point for measurements etc. If it came with the cricut essentials cart, if it's for a kid, use the bunny, or if it's for an adult female, use the shoe and some great sparkly bling. Go to the carts section on the Message Board (MB) and see if anything is listed for ideas w/the cart. Also try doing a search on the MB for the cart in the card section. You might be surprised at what you might find.
