I am going to go ahead and post a picture of the spool that I made for Evelyn. I only have the one picture so hopefully she has found her camera card and will post a better one I put myself on a buying ban so I used what I had in my stash. I found 3 different size spools, decorated each one and then attached them together using beads strands like you would make for chunky charms. You can't really see it but I used perfect pearls and glimmer mist on the spools also. Edited by user Wednesday, January 30, 2013 3:55:32 PM(UTC)

You did such a great job....love how you used perfect pears and glimmer mists. I just think extra touches just bring a project to a whole new level. REMINDER - I KNOW I SOUND LIKE A BROKEN RECORD ......Good swap practices that we need to follow in these swaps. We all put our hard work, time, and materials into a swap. So it is important to show our thanks to our partners by : Acknowledging receipt: Please post an acknowledgment/thank you upon receipt. I know it isn't always to easy to post pictures right away, but an immediate acknowledgment goes a long way. Pictures: Please remember to post pictures within 2 days of receiving your swap item. If you know you are unable to post pictures, please work out with your partner in advance so that they can take pictures. If something comes up and you cannot, please do so as soon as possible or ask someone if they can do for you. I believe that this an important part of the swapping process as we all learn from each other. Commenting: I know I feel good when someone comments about something I made. When someone posts a picture, even though you are not that persons partner, look and see what you like about it and give some specific comments. Ie. I loved the use of metal on COB's spool. I think it was awesome how she used the riveted embossing folder and This is something I have to work on as well. That all being said. I had so much fun this round. Tomorrow is the "last" day for mailing. Please let me know if you will not be mailing by tomrrow. I am just loving what has been sent so far. What a way to take a challenge. Isn't that amazing how we can all have the same item and make so much different from one to the next. AWESOME

I love the little sewing spool with the dress form. Great idea with the "charm" spools. It looks perfect for a valentines day display.
Lot's of talent in this swap!

I totally love it. You will laugh....I am so not a girly girl and last year they had the dress form tag swaps. I got talked into joining (it wasn't hard since I joined pretty much every swap last year - lol) I had so much fun doing them. It was great to see what you can do with them. Caffinnee - hoping you will love yours - I wount' get it mailed until tomorrow. I took it apart and re-did it. So love this version so much better. It took a while for me to discover my mojo on this. K

Received an amazing spool from Ksqueenb yesterday! She used an old textile spool. (I had never seen one before) I love butterflies and she incorporated them well! It has a butterfly calendar and a spot for a photo at the top in the flowers. There are butterflies sticking out in the flowers. Also butterfly charms are attached. Each calendar page has a quote about butterflies. She also made me a very nice card! Thank you!! Edited by user Thursday, January 31, 2013 10:53:21 AM(UTC)
