hello, I bought my cricut cake mini, I installed the program cricut craft room, when pressed to cut, he asked to upgrade from version 1.50 to 1.61. I followed the steps, hung up, grabbed stop and called again, waited five seconds, she gave a beep, she began updating ... and nothing. Now it does not work. the lights are lit. How to solve? Iracema Fonseca. I update the firmware, follow all the steps indicated by Cricut Craft Room-. beginning to start the update 1 2 3 appeared but failed and quit. Now when I turn the machine she turns almost all the lights. and shows nothing on the display. Edited by user Thursday, August 30, 2012 2:24:17 PM(UTC)

Hello Iracema Here is what you need to do: You need to install the trial version of Cricut Design Studio and use that to revert your firmware back to 1.54. Here's the link to where you can download Design Studio. (The trial version is free by the way.) http://www.cricut.com/forum/cri...sign-Studio-Updates.aspxUse that to install DS then open it, select Run in Trial mode then when it is open go to the Help menu and select Update Cricut Firmware. Follow the instructions carefully and make sure you select the Create as the machine to be updated as it's the same machine as the Cake Mini. That will set your firmware back to 1.54 (If you are prompted to do the update twice make sure you turn your Cricut off before starting the second update.) When it's finished try CCR again. If CCR prompts you to update the firmware again, press Skip!!!
