I have the Mal-ware Anti-virus - can't get loggin into CR. It spins the clock and then goes away - seems like its just stuck or something. I tried signing on as Administrator as in above post but it didn't work - did the same thing. :(

Open MSE -> click Settings and under real-time protection -> uncheck the option Turn ON real-time protection Don't forget to go back and turn it on when you've finished using CCR. I did all of the above. And my problem still exists. Any ideas on what might be wrong? I can log in. Build 151. Windows 7. But I can not get any of the images to show up in the image drawer at bottom. I choose a cart and it says it can not find any matches. And you can not see any of the image.
I even uninstalled and re-installed everything. I am trying to use desk top option.
I'm not comfortable with them logging into my computer so I am hoping you all could throw some ideas my way.
I can do a screen shot if you need to see what I mean by image tray empty.

Is this something new that's happening? If you use the Web version do you have the same problem?

Do that from your Control Panel, Programs & Features. Then download Air Zapper and run that. Air Zapper removes any traces of the Adobe files that are left behind after uninstalling. You can download Air Zapper from here: https://www.box.com/s/8pg8dxb4z4ugne5fnh41Once that has run download CCR again from http://www.cricut.com/craftroom/default.html and see if it has fixed the problem.

Lydia, the only thing I can suggest is to uninstall Microsoft Security Essentials then restart your computer. Ifyou can then login to CCR you'll know that it was MSE that caused the problem. You'll then have two options - find a way to add Cricutcraftroom.exe and ccrbridge.exe as exeptions to MSE or download/buy a different anti-virus/firewall program. If it didn't fix the problem then it's back to square one.

It doesn't actually uninstall any of the programs. It only cleans out the remnants of the Adobe programs that you have uninstalled. When you reinstall CCR you should be prompted to download Adobe Air. If you're not you can get it from here: http://get.adobe.com/air/Edited by user Sunday, August 12, 2012 6:23:46 AM(UTC)

Okay I figured out how to run Air Zapper. Here is what I did. It did NOT work and I have the same issue:( I could cry. I have the mini too and with out the CCR its practically useless:(
This is the order I just did it:
I uninstalled Cricut Sync. I uninstalled Adobe Air. I uninstalled CCR.
I cleaned temp files. I cleaned cookies.
I downloaded the Air Zapper zip.
I restarted my pc.
Turned off firewall and real time scanning.
I unzipped zapper. Figured out how to use it. Ran it.
Restarted PC again.
Turned off firewall and real scan again.
Re installed Sync ( which installed air again ) Re installed CCR.
Opened it and still no images in image tray:(

I really think it's time to call PC. I know you have reservations about them taking control of your computer but you will see exactly what they are doing and can cut their access at any time.

ChatterScene......After you give them control of your computer (if that's not something you know how to do and they tell you, just be sure to write down how they are telling you to get to that area to give them control), just be sure to go back to that area to make sure they don't still have control. All reputable businesses are going to make sure they get out of your computer, anyway. BUT, you can merely go in and check that the right to be in your computer is turned off, after they have finished helping you. You will see everything they're doing. They're going to be trying to help you in your computer, not hurt you. Hope you can get to the bottom of your problems. That's so strange that you have CCR up but it doesn't show anything in the images tray.
Can you use the dropdown filter to try another option, e.g., ALL TYPES (at the very top of the dropdown filter) to see if there are any cartridges listed anywhere in your images (I'm sure you've tried that, but sometimes obvious isn't what we do)?
Char

Ok, I can access the web version of Craft Room, but not the other one downloaded on my desktop. I have updated it and I have update Adobe Air. I have Microsoft Essentials Security as I previously stated, but don't understand why I can access the web version and not the desktop version. Anymore suggestions? Thanks for all of your help.

Does it help to right click on the Cricut CraftRoom ICON and select TROUBLESHOOT COMPATABILITY? If you get into it and don't know how to proceed (not sure what it asks of you), call PC to help you with it. Maybe that will help you. Char
