Great job Carol.

if there is an easier way to up load my images so that you don't have to download them - please help me...

Nat - the reason that we have to download your pix is that they are too large. Just go to your picture file,( in your computer if it is Windows) right click on the file and it will drop down a menu to "Edit" your picture. THen choose "Resize" and I usually select the Pixels to make the picture about 800x800 pixels. It will shrink your picture for you and it will then load right into the Cricut MB. I know this is a real quickie explanation, but I can email you a longer one if you like.

Many thanks to KM and Denise for posting the pictures... Looks like I may have started a war over the Cricut man pin ...ha ha !! Now that I have figured out how to make them I might do up a batch of them for some of my loyal swap ladies...you never know what you might find one day in your mailbox ! BigGrin

I think everyone did a great job on the pins here and I am really happy with the results.

We will tackle another one of these in the future, but right now I am pressing onward to finishing the March cards and the Easter basket due very soon ! THANKS to everyone who participated here !

CricutNat and Ladies,

I'm writing this thru tears of surprise and happiness. Just returned home from visiting and doing errands for my "little" brother sand found a package from CricutNat waiting for me. It was filled with the sweetest teacup and saucer and beautiful stick pins. I really like the green as they are so appropriate for St. Patrick's day, which is my wedding anniversary, and one of my favorite colors. Then there are pink, white and blue. All together 12 not 10 beautiful pins!!! I can't wait to arrange them in the teacup, however, need to find a safe spot to display them. Thank you so very, very much! I will do my best to take pictures and get them posted this weekend. By the way, where did you find the pins, I love the length and weight.

Many Hugs, Carol K.

Carol - I am so glad you got them- I am always worried that people will not get their packages - I've had several instances in which the USPS has not been very prompt with delivery - mostly for the diecut swap that I participate in - I searched high and low at big box retailers looking for those pins! I finally found them in the wedding section at Joann - I had almost given up hope of finding pins and I went down one last aisle, and there they were! They are 3 1/4" and the crystal bead is affixed to the top!

So glad you have them!

Gosh ladies... I carry these pins in my Etsy store...both pearl tops and crystal tops. Some JoAnn stores have them in the Floral section, as these are Floral supplies. Most of the wedding pins are only about 2" or 2 1/2". I think I mentioned this in the Post#1 info on the swap to help people to get the right thing. Those real long hat pins you see in the Jewelry section are nice, but too long to really use on most cards. 99% of the time I use these 3 1/4" pins.

Everyone has done a great job on their pins ThumpUp and with the containers as well. THANKS LADIES !! Wub Woot I think we can put this on in the record books ! Wink

I have had the most wonderful time experimenting with something new to me. Thanks very much Barb for hosting this awesome and fun swap. I took some of my beads and pins with me when I went over Sunday to see my grandchildren. Guess who wanted to dabble in making stick pins....YUP you guessed, both my grandson (12) and my granddaughter (11). They both have very good taste when it comes to designing stick pins. Wish I could post a picture of theirs on here, but I used my cell phone to take photos. Have no idea how to get them out of my cell phone, except to send them to my e-mail addy. Oh well.
