Hi there,
I have a cricut E but allot of my cuts are ragged now,
I can hardly ever get any small or detailed cuts to
work regardless of how good the paper I use, seems
curves are one of the worst spots and forget cutting out
phrases. So I am wondering if there is a fix for that
or maybe I will invest in a create if it does well on
the detailed cuts and smaller images????
Those of you who have a create are you glad you chose that?

Maxluv is right--try a new blade. That worked wonders for me when experiencing the same issues as you.

I had trouble last week with the same issue and my daughter told me to use a new mat, that worked wonders.

I was getting rough cuts last week. changed the blade and not only do I now have smooth cuts, but I also no longer have to cut everything 2 times.

I've tried new mats, new blades etc but still I do
double cuts and get shabby edges and half cut
images.

If nothing works including calling 'support'...I would recommend a mini cricut in stead of a create for intricate cuts...but you must use internet with CCR.

I wonder if your blade housing has lint or small paper pieces clogging it. Sounds like something is causing the blade not to turn freely. IF you haven't already, take the blade out of housing and try pouncing or blowing out the hole to see if it is clogged - or if you have know someone with a cricut, try their housing on your machine and see if it helps. may need to replace it the blade housing.

If I needed to replace my expression, I would most likely replace it with another expression. Never had problems with it and it is going on 7yrs old. I like the full 12 x 12 mat surface
