My scraproom is filled to the max and I had no shelf space to put cartridges when I got my cricut and started buying them. But there are 2 doors in the room..one for the closet and one to come into the room. So I decided to take advantage of that unused space and bought me an over the door wire shelf. One shelf will hold 60 cartridges. I recently had to order a 2nd one because this one filled up. Now if the 3nd one gets filled up then I will be able to get one more and hang it on the inside of this door. But surely I won't ever have more than 180 cartridges..will I??? Flapper

Here's a photo to show you how it looks...

before I got the 2nd shelf, I was storing new ones on top of the ones sitting in each shelf. I could fit 4 carts on top of each shelf. So technically this shelf will hold 80 cartridges.

I also like having everything together in their box. I don't have the jukebox. I never used the machine much to warrent getting one. And I have to say I'm glad I never invested in it since I use CCR now.

You are too funny!! LOL The thing is..I have no wall space!! so guess I will have to limit myself to 240 max total. Cause I can stuff four carts on top of each of the 10 carts on each shelf. And I figure there's 50 or so that's no longer available and then I don't need the imagine carts. And not to mention the ones I don't like...so I think I'm good to go :) I will never be one of THOSE people that has them all!!! Razz Sneaky Tongue OhMyGod

I ordered the first one from Target 2 years ago for around $31 with shipping but the one I just got I ordered from Amazon.com and paid $21 with free shipping cause we have amazon prime.

I think I'll give that idea some consideration. I have the smallest space on the planet. I have to rolling carts so that I can roll toys (machines) for play time.

This is how I store my carts too. I have 3 of these over the doors shelves. They work great and I allow me to keep them in their actually boxes.

Does this shelf unit need to be attached (screws/nails) on top or does it just hang over the top? Thanks!

it just hangs over the top. Screws came with it incase ya want to secure it but I like it just hanging and not drilling holes into my doors.

Thank you. I had another question about using both sides of the door, but then re-read your comments and you already answered it. That's why the edit.
