we built a new 1000sf deck this spring. I was so excited that I had a huge space to plant flowers in pots. This is a layout that I did of pics from my new deck. The mosaic I designed using squares from basic shapes and ccr. This is so much easier than cutting and placing the pictures in tiny quares. I just deleted a few of the square cuts in ccr to leave the solid space for my journaling. All together this layout has 7 pictures on it.

If anybody is interested, somewhere earlier I posted the ccr file for the mosiac cut. I will try to find it and post the link https://www.cricut.com/f..._New-Cartridge-Idea.aspx

BigGrin Fabulous way to get a lot of pics in !! I also take lots of photos of flowers, and I love the idea of the grid being the cut part! Actually, I also have a lot of pics from when my DDs & I helped my sister build a pool deck (I may use this as a way to get many shots on one page). Thanks for the inspiration!

wonderful post. You can use that overlay over and over again or cut it up and use it as a half page overlay, etc. I cut squares out of pictures once to make a similar layout and it is really difficult to get them perfect. I like your idea much better.
