I was cutting the free cell design in Craft Room and it stopped mid way.
Wouldn't kick out the paper and now the cutter is stuck on the left side of the machine.

Is there a reset on the machine or am I screwed? I can't believe it broke this quick.

Can you call customer service on Sunday, or are they closed until Monday?

Have you powered your E2 off yet? Doing that might make the housing return to the correct spot.

If not, here are the reset instructions:

E2 Reset instructions

Download the latest version of Cricut sync (if you don’t already have it.) http://www.cricut.com/home/support/cricut-sync

With the E2 turned off:

Plug your E2 into the computer and open up Cricut Sync
Select “Don’t Update Now” if it prompts you to update.
Select the “Help” option
Select “Troubleshooting”
Answer the 5 questions that appear as follows:
• Yes
• No
• No
• No
• Yes
You will be prompted to put your E2 into recovery mode. To do that:

Hold down the Home button, the Pause button and the power button together.
A blue screen will appear.

Once the troubleshooting process is complete disconnect your E2 and try using your machine again.

If your issue has still not been fixed contact PC customer service on 1-877-727-4288 | Monday-Friday: 7am-6pm MST.

Yes, we turned everything off and unplugged. Then turned everything back on and it's still in the same spot. Didn't return. I will try your instructions today and if that doesn't fix it, I will call support tomorrow.

Thank you for your post.

Update: nothing worked. Will call tomorrow.
