I just started using the expression 2 and the paper will not stay stuck down to the mat! I have tried 2 different kinds and both start moving around when I press the cut button. I even tried using my pizza dough roller and it would not stick to the mat. Yes, I took the plastic off the mat.

You may have some of the mats that do not work well for most people.
What does your mat look like?
The best ones are PCs newest ones.
They have Cricut written in the middle in big letters.
Unfortunately some retailers are still selling the old ones.
I have found new ones stocked with the old ones.
I'd suggest you call PC's customer service. They replaced faulty mats for me.
In the meantime since they are closed for the weekend and I'm sure you want to play.
I'd suggest you try finding one of the new Cricut in the middle ones.
They really work well for me.
