Almost everytime I try to use cricut craft room it starts cutting and then stops halfway thru-like the connection is fading in and out. I am so fustrated. I would love to use the free cuts but I can't because of this. I will not buy anymore digital cartridges because of this. Also the fact that there are no directions as to size etc is maddening. I was trying to cut out a fathers day card but no idea what size. Why is this so difficult. I really want to be able to use this machine

What machine are you using? and have you contacted PC?

Call PC and talk to them about it. You can cut whatever size you want for the cards. Some people make a regular A2 size card, some go bigger and some go smaller. With some of the cut, I made tags. Just remember when you select the size, you are selecting the height of the total image. So if the card folds from the top, the height includes the front and back. For an A2 card {which is 4.25 x 5.5} that folds from the top, you would set the size and 8.5.
