I got my mini yesterday and with all the bad things I was hearing I thought I to was going to have trouble but it was the complete opposite. Everything was easy to set up and I'm having a ball. I Love the cricut craftroom and my gypsy. Now off to decorate the mini.

I took the plunge and bought it also. Couldn't be happier with it! I have the original Cricut and the mini cuts soooooo much better. CCR works better with the mini also.

It's a great machine and I think the tiny cuts it does rivals the other cutter brands. I also have a cameo, and I think it cuts almost as well for tiny cuts as a cameo.
I use it a lot and rarely use my little personal cutter, even though that's the one that works with my 3rd party software.

I might keep that in mind in case something happens to my E. What size mats can it take? I tried going to the shop to read product details, but it didn't say.

That was my experience also. I now use my mini WAY more than my E2. It's my go to machine. Glad you are happy.

Got my mini for Christmas and had a few problems but got these sorted and am now making lots of cards. I have trouble with the cardstock weights what is classed as light is it 160gsm? I do find paper does not cut well unless it is quite thick, which is a pity as I have some lovely papers I wanted to use. Overall the mini does suit me.

Thinking on the mini because my E has died. Any problem using the cartridges.
