I just got a new Cricut Expression 2 for Christmas. I have Norton 360, i called cricut and they walked my trough the process of turning off the firewalls for the program and adding them. That didn't work, the girl suggested i call Norton, i did! They turn off Norton reloaded the programs and driver and it didn't work. It still gives my an error message with sync and if i try to access CCR it just says initializing. Nothing happens. Any help i have tried everything... very disappointed. I have opened the box, so now Hobby Lobby won't take it back!

I have been dealing with the same problem ... just initializing cricut craft room over & over. My son was nice enough to let me try it on his laptop and it worked but it wont work on my laptop at all and i tried to disable the nortons and the firewalls. I am getting frustrated and dont think my son is going to let me use his computer forever. Did anyone figure out the problem. By the way i got the cricut mini for christmas

having the same problem with initializing over and over. I have windows 8 and was told to change the compatibility mode to windows 7. did this and got craftroom to open but now getting driver error.

I am having the same problem!!! When I run the Cricut Sync, it says "Bridge Error"..I open the Craft Room and just says "Initializing" wont go pass that! Very frustrating  I have Wndows 8 as well. How do you change the compatibility mode to windows 7? Help!!!

I am having the same problem as many others. I have windows 8 and can't get my computer and cricut expression 2 that I got for Christmas to connect. So frustrating! I have 4 discs and the day off. Help!

I just had to update my pc to Windows 8, get as far as the initializing screen then "Failed to install driver software (error: 4-0x66). Please try again. If the problem continues, please contact Customer Support." Help!
