This stinks!!

When my original housing started skipping and not cutting properly I bought the deep cut housing. It is supposed to be so much better. I can't get it to work at all. It tears the paper or won't cut. Everyone I know that bought it hates it. It certainly won't cut chipboard as advertised. It won't even cut cardstock. PC has a great idea in the cricut product but has terrible product support. Just call them and you will see what I mean. In my opinion the original, plastic housing works much better.

Works Well

Just tried my deep cut blade and housing for the first time.  I will save heaps on chipboard products! Took a couple of goes to get the settings right, but it looks good now! I am using the card that I get in the packaging to get more products!

Don't Buy

I purchased a deep cut blade housing and a pack of 2 blades at the tune of 50 dollars. It cannot even properly cut textured card stock without destroying the paper much less trying anything thicker was a complete mess. I've had my Expression for a long time and I am VERY FAMILIAR with it and well versed on how to use all the settings. Nothing and I do mean nothing has aided me in getting this blade housing and blade to cut properly. I am very disappointed in this absolutely pointless purchase.

no help w/ texture

we bought this b/c we couldn't get the regular blade to work on textured cardstock, but found this didn't work either.

not worth the money

I just tried to use this. It won't cut through heavy card stock which is why I bought it. Save your money people........

Works for me

I purchased this blade to cut vinyl after watching an instructional video on vinyl. It works just fine for me. It worked on the first try with medium pressure and setting the blade on 4. I gave it 4.5 instead of 5 because I think that $30 is too high in relation to the price of the entire cricut machine.
